• Drainage & Detoxification

  • Our industrialized world has given us much in the way of product and technology, but this gain did not come without a huge cost. Having left us exposed to a variety of potentially harmful chemicals, we have become a toxic and chronically ill world…both the planet and those that share it. There are over 80,000 chemicals registered by the Environmental Protection Agency, 3,800 of which are “high-use” chemicals. Many of these have not been assessed for toxic effects in humans and even fewer have been assessed for the toxic effects on children.

  • In 2005, a study by the Environmental Working Group performed a Neonatal Toxicity Study randomly studying the umbilical cord blood from 10 babies. The results were astonishing; 287 chemicals were found, and each baby averaged approximately 200 known toxins. These chemicals included pesticides, consumer product ingredients, wastes from coals burning, gasoline and garbage. 180 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer in humans or animals, 217 are toxic to the brain and nervous system and 208 birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests.

Being aware (by lab testing) of this level of toxicity is the first step to take to IMPROVE your health and the health of future generations. Being aware that the way these environmental toxins target the immune, neurological and endocrine systems explains the enormous array of common health problems caused directly or indirectly by toxicity.

Environmental toxins come to us daily by way of:

    • Air pollution and cigarette smoke
    • Pesticides and herbicides
    • Heavy metals
    • Personal care products
    • Flame retardants used in appliances and fabrics
    • Medications

Although our bodies are designed to eliminate harmful toxins produced by both “endogenous” (within) and “exogenous” (outside) the body, when the toxic load accumulates at a higher rate than the body can eliminate, TOXIC SYMPTOMS result.

  • Toxic Symptoms May Be Associated To:

    • Fatigue, headaches, muscle and joint pain
    • Mood changes: anxiety, aggression and depression
    • Cognitive problems: reduced memory and brain fog
    • Neurological changes: nerve pain, tremors and balance problems
    • Immune System changes: chronic infections and/or severe allergy responses
    • Poor Digestion: constipation, nausea, bloating and weight gain
    • Hormone Imbalances: infertility, PMS and premature menopause, obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and poor blood sugar balance
    • Skin Breakdowns: allergies, eczema, psoriasis and acne

Ok, so you probably already know that unless it’s marked organic, the fruits and vegetables you are eating have been sprayed with pesticides. What you probably don’t know is just how many pesticides are used. Most likely you also think that by rinsing that produce in water or washing it removes all those pesticides. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Your fruits and vegetables absorb those pesticides and fertilizers right into the meat of the produce. Read More.
